TI-84+ C calculator with color screen (Photo)

An engineer isn't an engineer without a calculator. In my engineering days (about a decade ago) the calculators that could solve the matrices problems in a jiffy were a rage and only a few had access to calculators that'd generate graphs. A calculator with a color screen would be a dream come true for us. I haven't been tracking the development on the digital calculators, but it looks like a lot's happened with the calculators. The much awaited TI-84 calculator is being developed at Texas Instruments and it's a flashy color screen! The calculator is being called TI-84+ C Silver Edition. The new machine is marginally different from the original TI-84 and it runs on OS 2.55.
