Sony Xperia TX Launch May Happen On August 29, Suggest Rumors

The new Android smartphone by Sony has seen many name changes. First it was called by its model number Sony LT29i, then it was given the title “Hayabusa” but now it seems that the final name by which this device will launch in the market is Sony Xperia TX. Since Sony has planned an event for August 29, it seems the most probable date of launching the smartphone is along with the new Xperia tablet. The report from “Android Authority” also states that this event is being held on the same day in which Samsung plan to launch #-Link-Snipped-# to the world.

The source has also made a list of specifications that the device is supposed to have. The device is supposed to running Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) out of the box on a dual core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm S4 chip with 1GB of RAM. It supposed to sport a 4.6 inch 720p display and have a 13MP camera on its rear. Other features being offered by this phone will be revealed once the product hits the market.
