Sony Xperia SL Coming Soon - ICS, Dual Core Processor & 720p Display Bundled

Without any pomp or show, Sony has revealed the next product in its Xperia series, The Sony Xperia SL. The details were revealed on the company website. The The rumors have been confirmed that this Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) smartphone features a Qualcomm MSM8260 Dual Core processor clocking in at a 1.7GHz and has 1GB of RAM.  Its 4.3” scratch resistant TFT capacitive screen with BRAVIA engine has a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and is capable is displaying 16,777,216 colors. The rear camera is a 12.1 megapixel camera comes with pulsed LED flash and auto focus with 16x digital zoom and it is capable of full HD (1080p) video recording and the front camera has a resolution of 1.3MP.

The phone measures 128.0x64.0x10.6 mm and weighs 144 grams. It has an internal memory of 27.8 GB out of which 25.8GB is user accessible. In terms of connectivity features it has Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth, HDMI port and a Micro USB port. It comes preloaded with native Sony and Google apps and is available in four colors black, white, silver and pink. The availability and pricing is not known at the present time.
