SONY S1 Media & S2 Dual-Screen Android Honeycomb Tablets

Sonly S1 & S2 Android 3.0 Honycomb tablets have been made official at the Tokyo press event. The S1 Media Tablet is 9.4" tablet with front and rear cameras and look like a folded magazine. The Sony S1 tablet also features Tegra 2 SoC processor and a customized version of the GUI for the touch panel which is both quick and very smooth to operate. The tablet also features Swift Web browser for faster Internet navigation. The tablets have a unique feature that sets it apart from other tablets in the Market - integrated infrared that make this tablet act as a remote control for the Sony gadgets.

The second tablet, Sony Dual Screen S2 Tablet, features 5.5" dual screens connected with each other. Both the screens feature 1,024 x 480 pixel resolution, Tegra 2 SoC process like the S1 and camera. While the tablet may look bulky, Kunimasa Suzuki revealed the tablet by pulling it out of pocket of his jacket. The dual screen obviously offers advantage to the tablet as an e-book reader, email application: with virtual keypad on one screen and the message box on the other.
