I'm wondering what will be the official name of the next Android, aka Android 5.0? Here's the historical names of various versions of Android -

Cupcake (1.5)
Donut (1.6)
Eclair (2.0–2.1)
Froyo (2.2–2.2.3)
Gingerbread (2.3–2.3.7)
Honeycomb (3.0–3.2.6)
Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0–4.0.4)
Jelly Bean (4.1–4.3)
KitKat (4.4)

Does anyone know or want to make a guess?

Whatever it is, surely it will be the name of a sweet or dessert beginning with the letter L.
It could be Lollypop or Licourice 😛
If Google would listen to me, I would suggest Laddoo or Lassee 😉

Any other guesses/suggestions guys?

The thing is, Key Lime Pie has been 'suggested'. There's no guarantee that it will be made official. But I'm pretty sure that the folks inside Google already know the name. I seriously want one of the Androids to be named "Kaju Katli".

K is done as Kitkat... so Kaju Katli is not possible in android versions.....
