SNAPDEAL delivered wood pieces in place of Apple iPhone
The phones were ordered on December 7 (order no. 3862653450) at his home address at Pune, where fortunately he chosen payment method as 'Cash on Delivery' and upon receiving the parcel, he requested the delivery boy for checking the package. Delivery boy allowed him to open the package before accepting the cash; This saved him 40 K+ bucks.
Snapdeal's vice president of marketing, Sandeep Komaravelly, sent an note to media explaining about the goof-up as:
We deeply regret the mix-up that inconvenienced our customer. As soon as the case was brought to our notice, the team got in touch with the customer and arranged to hand-deliver the ordered phones. This is not the first case when snapdeal has sent incorrect items, but sending pieces of wood. I would say that they have touched the all time low in their services.
I know we have a past threads for snapdeal experience (around 6 months back). In last one year how many of you experience this goofed-up behavior of snapdeal, and how was the support from snapdeal. Your experience and comments please...
