Project Abstract / Summary : Many-storied building can be seen everywhere in modern society where elevator plays a vital role in connecting stories. Our project is to make this elevator smart enough so that it could be operated by voice commands. The system can automatically generate a call request on sensing a person waiting for elevator this is achieved by using a ultrasonic sensor and emergency evacuation is made possible using LabVIEW myRIO.
Why did you choose to work on this project topic : We want the disabled person such as blind and handless person to stand on their own.So we planned to design an elevator which works using speech processing.we are using the labview software for coding .our major components for our project is Ultrasonic sensor , MyRIO, seven segment LED and LED lights. MyRIO is a new tool which is very helpful for young engineers like us.285 million people are visually impaired in this world.Our project will help them.
