Seraku Android Mirror Lets You Read News On Salon Mirrors
Seraku Android Mirror will remind you of the #-Link-Snipped-# that we saw during CES 2012. Getting from the window in to the mirror, Seraku Corp. Japan have now put the prototype of the display upon a LCD monitor overlaid with a semitransparent piece of reflective glass. So, you can check the weather or read the news directly on this special SmartMirror, without actually touching it. Touching would smudge the mirror surface and make it spotty. Therefore, they have made the use of RF proximity sensors that detect the user's hand position and display things accordingly.

The Seraku Mirror is powered by an Android tablet in the background. Though this is just a prototype and the company hasn't declared a commercial product, we are already thinking of the variety of applications this service will bring. You may read news or watch cricket scores while getting a hair-cut in the salon mirror or check your weight and other health information on the mirror in your gymnasium.
