Samsung Display Launched As The World's Largest Display Manufacturer
Samsung has officially #-Link-Snipped-# the launch of its new corporation, the Samsung Display, which was planned earlier this year. The day to day operations are expected to begin once the incorporation registration is over by April 3, 2012. Samsung's LCD Business has recorded a sales of approximately $20 billion (22.7 trillion KRW) in 2011 is all set to become the world's largest display manufacturer with a workforce of over 20,000 and five manufacturing units around the world.

By separating the display business from other operations, Samsung plans to allow their new corporation to function individually and stay ahead of its competitors. LG has had its display unit separate since the last 13 years and now Samsung plans to challenge others and become " The No.1 Global Display Manufacturer".
The inauguration ceremony was held with an attendance of over 350 employees who reflected the Business' success which Samsung Electronics had over a time span of 21 long years. Samsung Display has been a part of Samsung since 1991 as a Research and Development unit with a name for manufacturing innovative and creative displays for a couple of decades and counting.
The company logo still remains the same with just the "SAMSUNG DISPLAY" written below the original logo. We will wait for the "wide variety of customised products" which Samsung Display is planning to roll out under its new brand name.
