Roskva Electric Motorcycle From Norwegian Engineering Students Ready For A Ride

Electric Motorcycles are not a new. Even though we are seeing rapid growth in research and development of electric vehicles, motorcycles aren't really a popular option in the segment. Five Norwegian engineering students from the University of Life Sciences in Oslo have set out to overcome the drawbacks of currently available electric bikes available on the market. The handmade electric bike named 'Roskva' features a carbon fiber monocoque frame weighing 25 kg. Inside a lightweight frame, you will find 414 individual lithium iron phosphate cells in series making the total capacity of 6 kWh. Two Lynch D135RAGS electric motors are powered by the batteries from the LEM200 series that deliver 80 Nm of torque and peak power of 96.6 horsepower.
