Reliance Unveils Special Edition LYF F1 With 16 MP Camera And 4G Support For Rs. 13,399

Reliance retail has launched special edition LYF F1 as company’s very own 4G VoLTE compatible device. Keeping in mind the launch of its recent Jio 4G service, LYF F1 comes equipped with carrier aggregation (CA) support, providing users vastly improved data transfer rates and unmatched browsing experience. This feature is also known to boost battery life, quoted a company statement.

The dual-SIM (Micro + Nano) smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, sporting a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC (four cores clocked at 1.52 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.21 GHz), paired with 3 GB of RAM. A memory capacity of 32 GB supports an expansion of 128 GB for additional storage. Fired up by an 3200 mAh non removable battery, LYF F1 ships with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. The photography options include- a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter.

The smartphone is integrated with Rich Communication Services (RCS) which allows for more enhanced calling and messaging features over the SIM card itself. It also features a support for group messaging, sending emojis as well as file and location sharing. The custom video player enables users to view two videos at once featuring Smart Video Play option along with Video Stabilization Mode. A feature called Smart Ring adjusts the timer volume of the smartphone based on ambient noise levels.

Being a special edition handset, LYF F1 brings with it special offers and freebies including a free Bluetooth speaker and 10 percent cash back for Citibank customers. Purchasers will also get a Reliance Retail gift voucher worth Rs. 15,000. The smartphone will be available from Reliance Digital stores starting 21st October itself.
