The aim of this project is to design an advertising portal.
Abstract:
Promotional Portal is a kind of advertising portal which is particularly common in newspapers, online and other periodicals. Classified advertising differs from standard advertising or business models as it allows private individuals (not only companies or corporate entities) to solicit sales for products and services.
The main objective of Classifieds project is to provide user friendly application and search process to help users quickly find what they are searching in the site.
As advertising is a key factor for selling, the website created should act as a middle layer between customer and advertiser at very much affordable cost. The payment mode also must be automated through payment gate way module, through which advertisers can pay the bills online through a secured connection.
User has to register with the website and then only they can place their ads and business cards. For one dollar, ad can be placed on website for one month. User can search for a product by selecting product category or by giving product name. An admin module is designed to maintain users and ads through this website.
