Print your electronic gadgets with an inexpensive conductive plastic composite

"Carbomorph" might be the new material to follow. Developed by engineers at University of Warwick, this new conductive plastic composite makes it possible for anyone to print their own electronic gadget. Carbomorph allows anyone with a low-cost 3D printer to 'print' the electronic tracks and sensors as a part of their 3D structure. The team of researchers from Warwick have demonstrated the use of this new material by printing a game controller (see photo). Dr Simon Leigh, who leads the research says that his team is working hard to find out ways to print an actual 3D gadget. Dr. Leigh believes that this technology has potential to change the way we produce the stuff around us.

We hope to be able to print our Galaxy Note VIII with this technology as soon as Samsung announces it.
