Effectively called, the Panasonic Eluga Switch, this smartphone boasts of its two vertical screen orientations that let the use 'switch' between upright mode to inverted mode without hassle. We can only imagine that the phone will be a blessing for those travelling frequently in jam-packed trains or buses. Anyhow, the smartphone is priced at Rs. 19,990 and comes with a premium JBL headset for free. It is noteworthy here that Alcatel OneTouch was one company that introduced a phone called Idol 3 that came with a similar reversible functionality.

Coming to the specifications, here we have a phone running on a 1.5 GHz OctaCore Snapdragon 615 processor along side an Adreno 405 graphics unit. The 5.5 inch Full HD touch screen IPS display comes with DragonTrail glass for protection. On the storage front, there's 32 GB ROM and 2 GB RAM. (No mention of microSD card expansion slot).

Featuring the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Reversible UI out-of-the-box, the Panasonic Eluga Switch comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8 megapixel front selfie snapper with a 84-degree wide angle lens.

A 2910 mAh battery inside the phone serves at the phone's power house and should last the phone a better part of the day. The phone's overall weight is 141g and comes in a 7.4 mm thin body.

At the price of Rs. 19,990, the Panasonic Eluga Switch is pitted against Android smartphones like Xiaomi Mi5, Moto X Play, Sony Xperia Z1, Asus Zenfone Selfie and even the OnePlus One.
