CE is popular, thats Good. But I want it to become a Site like a Sun Forum For Java Developers.

Its really possible..

For such, I have a suggestion. Inviting the Subject matter specialist to respond for the user queries.

In the start, its like a weird one..Through the valuable response only,any forum can attract lot of users.The subject matter specialist can be a persons who give valuable responses. Having lot of users visits at CE, increases revenue..and hence more prizes to CEans 😛.I must admit, we do have a SME over here at CE 😀,

We know that many workshops and seminars conducted in various colleges to enhance their knowledge in that particular area.Why should not we have it in CE??

CEans can clear their doubts and ask questions regarding that particular area.Its not mandatory that only the lecturers should give seminars on the particular topic.We can also invite some of the industrialists from various industries to give seminars and to conduct a online workshop with video presentation.It will be great if we implement this idea.

Even some of the students have the capability to conduct a workshop using video presentation and to provide valuable and interesting seminars to other students.Why should not we give a chance to them to show case their talents on CE?

nice idea praveena but it cant be done by only 2 or 3 or even 100 all the CE members should show interest on it and many have to work hard.
First we should have a necessary plan to implement it

We should advertise in all the social networking sites,colleges that we have intended to conduct workshops,seminars using video presentation in CE.People those who are interested can deliberately take seminars and workshops in CE.People who take seminars and workshops can be lecturers,industrialists or students.We can fix the time of seminars and workshops so that all the CEans attend it and gain more knowledge about the particular area.People who are interested can register and participate in seminars or workshops.Before planning i would like to know Biggie's suggestion regarding this plan!

We can get people to deliver seminars. However, I'm doubtful how many will be interested. I was in talk with Mr. Amit Grover, a well known authority on Entrepreneurship. Amit said that he'll be interested in answering questions related to entrepreneurship. But what I see is that there aren't many people interested in entrepreneurship! That applies to other topics as well. I believe we'll have to stick to the regular topics like "Personality Development" and "Interview Skills" which are of wider interest; but I find them as waste of time.

We've had a very-very bad experience when we invited renowned people to answer questions on CE in the past. For example, we had invited the creator of Space Ship One (Mr. Burt Rutan), Mr. Paul Buchheit (Creator of Gmail), Mr. Bjarne Stroustrup (Creator of C++) - and all we got were questions related to "Project Help!".

We CAN invite authorities; but we need people who can ask good questions. At present we seriously lack them. That's why we are currently working on expanding CE's reach. We don't want to disappoint the authorities we invite on CE.

PS: Apologies if this got bit out of the way.

My god!I missed it:-( I would have raised so many questions to Mr..Paul and Mr.Bjarne if i had known it before!

actually i think now a days people are more interested in projects and researches
finally my idea is
why cant we provide more information and more ideas on this topic
giving new ideas for creating new things as world is improved by technology so we can change it making the technology with environment and we can discuss with specialists and implement them under there guidance as i think it may improve our skills and improves our environment goodness
i mean to say is making electric cars and bikes with out pollution making communication without harming signals because we all know many species have extinguished with that signals this may change our world in other phase let us start with our CE it may be proud to us too
