Motorola Plans Event On September 5; DROID RAZR HD Might Be On the Way

Day before yesterday we had reported about #-Link-Snipped-# and mentioned that all major players in the smartphone segment have planned new devices, but here we have news about Motorola who on the same date i.e. September 5 have planned an event. The invite which was sent to media houses across the US has many hidden messages. On the first look, you immediately get the fact that not only Motorola but Verizon Wireless is also a part of this event. The second line “Join us for the day’s main event” might be considered as a dig at the Nokia-Microsoft Event. But the reporters do not need to worry missing one event for another as this event is scheduled to begin at 2 pm ET.

The phrase “Motorola. On Display.” has added more fuel to the DROID RAZR HD rumor. This successor of the RAZR might be launching on that day is said to have a 720p display with on screen navigation buttons with an 8MP camera running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Since Verizon is a part of this event this device looks headed To Verizon on their 4G LTE network.
