The App Inventor is actually a creation of Google. The company however no longer maintains the project. MIT offered to own the project and launched their own version of the software. Neo app developers may keep in mind that the version you're downloading is still in beta and may not work perfectly. The App Inventor, however, is a great tool to start developing apps because the App Inventor does not require you to write any code. You begin by 'designing' the app and the software will take care of the rest.
If you've developed an app using App Inventor, tell us about it through comments or just upload it to #-Link-Snipped-#.
