Micromax Canvas Music A88 Price & Specs Revealed
Micromax Canvas Music A88 price and specifications have been revealed. The phone would begin shipping at Rs. 8499 through e-commerce website and retail stores across India. The Canvas Music A88 is a special phone which brings JBL on board. The phone would ship with a free JBL Tempo headset and nothing has been changed since the phone was first previewed at the Micromax MTV Video Music Awards in Mumbai few weeks ago. Let's quickly look at the technical specifications of the phone -
Under the hood, the A88 is equipped with 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor which should handle all the apps and firmware smoothly. There's a 0.3 MP front facing camera and a 5MP full HD camera on the rear capable of recording HD videos. A 1800 mAh battery pack powers the entire assembly. The phone ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and is integrated with MLive that allows streaming unlimited songs. MLive boasts of a collection of over 4 lakh songs already. The company promises up to 5 hours of talk time on a fully charged phone.
The phone offers a 4.5" capacitive touch-screen display and offers ample connectivity options like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS antenna. There's a standard 3.5mm headphone jack which allows the headset cord to act as the FM radio antenna.
The phone ships in Pearl White & Midnight Black colours and is expected to hit the markets tomorrow. Looking at the specifications, it's a no brainer that the phone would be a good competition to all the Android smartphones under Rs. 10,000 price point.
