Maruti Alto 800 Launch On October 16th- Already 6500+ Of These Babies Booked

Maruti Suzuki is all set to capitalize on the small-car market with its all new Alto 800 getting launched on October 16th. The car will be competing Hyundai EON and Tata Nano, and comes in two variants- petrol and CNG. While the petrol-version is expected to cost somewhere around Rs. 2.5-3 lacs, the CNG version shall be a notch expensive at Rs. 3-3.5lacs. Keeping the high interest rates and the constant petrol price hike in mind, the carmaker's to replace the existing model of Alto with the new Alto 800, as the new model not only boasts a super-fashionable design, but it also offers drivers a better gear shift and better mileage ( the petrol version gives around 23km/l, which is 15% greater than the existing model, and the CNG version gives 31km/l).
