Lytro Camera's Light Field Photography Lets You Focus After You Click

One might wonder what is the 'Light Field' concept all about? Conventional cameras that we have never bear such a term. Well, it is an imaging science concept that defines how a scene appears. By definition it is the amount of light traveling in every direction through every point in space. To record this light field, different kind of sensors are used that capture the color, intensity and vector direction of the rays of light. By use of powerful software and sophisticated algorithms, this brainchild of the Lytro team is unleashing new ways to take pictures.
