LG Optimus 3D Tech Specs

We are quite surprised to see no updates on the software side by LG. Optimus 3D features Android 2.2. However, on the hardware part the specs look good. The phone has gorgeous 4.3" glasses-free 3D display which operates at 800x480 resolution. The phone has a 1.3 MP camera on the front and a pair of 5MP cameras on the rear to capture 3D videos at 1080p (Full HD) resolution @ 24 fps OR 3D 720p at 30fps. No doubt you need a powerful processor to support 3D rendering. LG Optimus 3D uses 1GHz dual core TI OMAP4430 processor. 512MB dual channel RAM ensures the smooth operation of the device.

On the connectivity side, the phone has HSPA+ connection which is capable of doing 14.4 Mbps and as anyone would expect, it has an HDMI out port. 3D video capture involves two 5MP cameras working in synch and naturally is quite a burden on the battery. The phone has 1500mAh battery which will ensure longer life of the phone on single charge. We however believe a bigger capacity battery would have been a huge plus to the phone. Of course, the battery is removable.
