Lamborghini Aventador J Roadster Has Got Carbon-Fiber Seats
The#-Link-Snipped-# roadster, which first appeared at this year's Geneva Motor Show, has made use of carbon-fiber composites all over the car, and has also got a new seat padding material known as CarbonSkin. Reports suggest that the new material is fabricated using carbon fibers in a 2x2 twill pattern, soaked in a new kind of resin, in a totally novel soaking system used for the first time in the automotive industry.

This method stabilizes and reinforces the fiber structure, retaining the softness and flexibility of the fiber after curing. What we get with this is a matte fabric weighing half the weight of leather, which can easily moulded to any shape as desired. The CarbonSkin carbon-fiber composite fabric covers the vehicle's car seats, where it's employed as both the covering and decorative fabric. It also covers other surfaces like the center console, the instrument-panel topper pad, plus the inner door panels. This composite is the strongest and lightest material the company has ever put to use.
