iBangle To Adorn Your Wrist - Add It To The List!
Remember every time when you jog, just for the sake of listening to music you have to put up with headphones and all the connecting wires dancing along. Well, the scenario might just change. Engineers at Apple are trying out wearable devices, which also includes a curved glass iPod meant to be drawn on the wrist and put to use using Siri voice commands. A small group of Apple employees contribute in developing this wearable gadget by setting up the now-present-everywhere smartphone as a data-collecting center.

The small team size likely indicates that iPod-Bangle, or the iBangle, does not feature on Apple's to-do list for now. The iPod nano is already held as good as a "wearable", but with the latest model, the iPod can be used with any other locally available #-Link-Snipped-# as a wrist-watch alternate. The wireless technology in question is still a mystery, although the company has provided Bluetooth 4.0 support (or as some may know- "Bluetooth Smart Ready") in its latest iPhone 4S.
Well, Apple is not alone in this technological advancement, with Google catching up slowly. Google's X LABS hires programmers, engineers from big guns like Microsoft, MIT and Nokia Labs and is working on a concept called "internet of things" - a coordinated network of gadgets, sensors and other electronic devices. If sources are to be believed, they would be bestowed with the skill of murmuring back details to your Android smartphone.
