Hybrid Blue - The Hybrid Racing Car Developed By BYU Engineering Students

Engineering students at Brigham Young University (BYU) have developed a hybrid racing car and they're calling it 'Hybrid Blue'. The car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3 seconds (amazing!) Hybrid Blue design is surely inspired from Batman movies and has already won #1 spot in 2012 SAE Formula Hybrid competition held last week at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The car uses a 100-horsepower, 450-pounds-of-torque engine powered by 72 lithium polymer-celled battery pack and E-85 Fuel. Check out this video : -
