Why not tell us your thoughts on how can the inrush current be calculated? Share your thoughts so that electrical / electronics engineering experts can help you. -

Then without knowing the inrush current limit, how will you choose particular NTC thermistors as protection elements against inrush currents?The_Big_KWhy not tell us your thoughts on how can the inrush current be calculated? I think calculation of inrush current can be obtained from the textbooks. Once you get the steps, you should be able to calculate the thresholds and continue with the further problem. Is there any problem you are facing with the inrush current related calculations? If yes, please post your specific problem so that it can be solved with the help of CEans 😀 . -

You need to specify more about your ckt to imagine it and check for the maximum possible inrush current during spikes
