Google "Recent" Features Local Searches Over Android Devices And iPhone!

The iPhone and Android users can hunt down their favorite shops/eateries or any other local information on their computer with the latest #-Link-Snipped-# launched by Google. All you have to do is have your web-history enabled, and ensure that you are logged-into Google while searching anything. Here's what Google's software engineer Junichi Uekawa had to say about this feature in his #-Link-Snipped-#-

Next time you are heading to a place you have recently searched for, no need to worry if you can't remember the address or phone number.

The search data saved with the "recent" icon should be accessed by users within 24 hours. Let's say that you searched for a particular place on one gadget, then on a second gadget, all you have to do is click on the "recent" icon to know about your earlier search. This icon shall be visible only at Google's homepage. Getting directions while traveling, or getting a particular phone number is just one click away! While a fraction of people feel this conjugation of all devices gets them using the internet more easily, the other fraction believes that this feature is related to Google's new Privacy Policy, which clearly states that the Web Giant has all the rights to blend 'personal information' over many products and services, and is NOT happy. Android and iPhone users out there, we'd like to know your take on this development. Does it change the way you used the internet, or its just-another-icon to you? Do opine in comments!
