Google Play Upgrade 3.8.15 Unearth Reveals Launch Of Gift Cards And Wishlists

Unearthing the code in Google Play Upgrade Android application package file (APK) has revealed that Google plans to introduce the facility of Redeemable Play Store gift cards and to make wishlists of the content that you want to buy from Google Play. The folks over at Android Police like any other police were suspicious when they noticed that the upgraded version 3.8.15 had an excess of 300KB of code as compared to the previous version. So they started to tear apart the APK and found the extra codes and compiled them to reveal these new features.

While they were in the redeem gift card section they found that the code redirects them to page in the Google Play website that hasn’t been constructed yet. They are not sure of the functionality of the wishlist feature but they speculate that this would act like a shopping cart to make a list of content that you want to buy at a later date by using gift cards. For evidence they have put up a long list of codes that prove that these features exist. For the time being no one knows when these features will be publicly available.
