Google Map Maker Revamped - Using It Is Easier Than Before

Google Map Maker is used by people to add & update information on google maps about places they know like restaurants, school/college campuses or your favorite coffee ship. This information is shared and is available on Google Maps (for PC as well as Mobile) & Google Earth. Just like Wikipedia articles, these updates are reviewed and approved before they go online for the world to watch. The service is available for over 188 countries around the globe. Today, Google #-Link-Snipped-# in the blog that just like other Google products, namely Gmail, Docs, YouTube and Reader, it has given a makeover to the Map Maker service.



The only noticeable thing is that Google has made it pretty easier for users to add details to the maps by the clean interface and has provided a walkthrough explaining  how to add & edit places, add roads & review other's updates. Among the certain known issues in the new Google Map Maker, one is that it has not been fully translated into all languages and it has not been verified for compatibility with IE 7 & earlier versions.
