Project Abstract / Summary :

• The objective of our app is to help farmers to clear all their doubts regarding agriculture, solutions for diseased crops directly from the experts in the nearby agriculture research center in just a click away.
• With the increased use of smart phones around the world, there has been a large number application for all most all the work which we do in our day-to-day life and also for all sort of profession.
• So our idea is to develop an efficient android app for agriculture, as farmers still face problems to increase their crop yield.
• Agriculture is the backbone of Indian Economy. With the contemporary technology phase, everything is being mobilized.
• So we decided why not we design an app that supports the farmer and connect them with the agricultural research center.
• The farmers can post query regarding their problems and find the remedy for diseased the crop and also in this app the farmer can post the queries with the picture of the diseased affected plant and also the farmer to keep track of his query.
• This app provides the option of knowing the current marketing price of manure, fertilizers, vegetables, fruits and fertilizers for selecting the best suited for him.
• Our app also provides other services such as weather forecasting, agriculture news update and updates about current market rates.

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : Farmers need support to improve their standards, and hence this app will migrate their traditional support of waiting for their lab results from nearest research center, it will connect them directly to research center and help them to get immediate results

The future scope is that our app will help to minimize the farmer problems to a lesser one both on and off the field.
