    Why is power measured in decibels in Rf and Microwave communication and not in terms of Kwh or watt....??? please do give your reasons friends....😕

    power is in watt but decibel is logarithmic unit and indicates a ratio.
    log10(p1/p2)=db
    as you can see units of power cancel each other. this ratio gives gain and magnitude is given in some units so db

    hmmm... dats ok.... thank u.... But do u mean to say that only ratio of power values are used in rf and microwave engineering....??!! if so, why?
