    #-Link-Snipped-# This GIF explains it very clearly.

    Torque_animation

    In the above image, for the rotating particle -
    torque = Ï„
    position = r
    force = F
    ------------------------------
    angular momentum = L
    position = r
    linear momentum = p

    1. Moment is the tendency of a force to move an object.
    2. Torque is the tendency of a force to rotate an object in a pivot.
    1. Moment is the perpendicular distance between the point of rotation and the force’s line of action.
    2. Torque is a measure of the turning force of an object.
    Are you sure? This action cannot be undone.
