Determining the charge content of a battery
Consider that you have a lead acid battery, (the ones used in automobiles). how do you determine whether the battery is fully charged, or partially charged or completely empty.

zaveriI am not so sure of that .
if you connected the two ends of a battery to a voltmeter or a multimeter, then the instrument readings might only tell the maximum voltage of the battery.
would it tell the exact amount of charge that is present in the battery at the moment ? -
Jeffrey ArulrajThe Voltage of the battery is a measure of the charge stored in the battery So if we have maximum voltage the battery is full charged and if we have 0 or comparatively lesser voltage the battery is dead
