DC Motor Control – Arduino for Beginners

    Basically you can run DC motor by applying High voltage (5/12 or whatever is the rating) and Ground on the other Pin. If you keep that voltage constant on both pin that DC motor keeps running while if you want to stop it or want to control it's speed then you have to change the values on your DC motor pin.

    And if you look at closely on PWM you can vary your ON and OFF time and based on that it will change the timing on the pin where you are applying HIGH signal.
