Modern development in computer science engineering has led to creation of newer engineering disciplines. The recent developments in computer technology has led to creation of artificial intelligence and data science engineering.
The artificial intelligence and data science engineering is a new discipline in engineering that combines processing, analysis, visualising and prediction of data along with development of predictive models to forecast future event.

What is data science engineering?
Data Science engineering itself is a combination of mathematics and data. It involves using math and statistics combined with software programming to make sense of the data available.
This data is often offered to the data scientists by data engineers. Data scientists will mostly be working on tools and processes through the following stages -
- Data collection or ingress: Structured and unstructured data is collected from sources.
- Data verification: Data is verified and corrected as required
- Data storage: Data is stored securely in ways that it's quickly available for processing and analysis.
- Data analysis: Data is run through tools, systems and processes and is analysed for future consumption

What is artificial intelligence engineering?
Artificial Intelligence engineering is a field of research and development of machine learning algorithms like natural language processing and neural networks to predict the future.
This is very broad definition of AI engineering. It comprises of the basic principles of systems, software and computer science engineering to make computers more human like and respond to natural language commands.
Is it worth enrolling for AI and DS Engineering Course?
Yes, artificial intelligence and data science engineering requires solid knowledge of mathematics, software engineering and software development along with industry standard tools. There are several Universities that have began offering specialised training courses for students interested in this engineering domain.
Are there ample job opportunities?
Yes, there are a lot of job opportunities for AI, DS engineers. The demand is going to grow in future; as AI finds applications in most of the fields - software development, industrial manufacturing, robotics, automobile, aerospace, chemical manufacturing, transportation and several others.
