Those who are familiar with the matter can post their own review and feedback about how's the whole placements scenario at the CDAC Bangalore training center. Which are the companies that recruit, what is the average placement package offered and what is the eligibility criteria are the important considerations before you decide on choosing the center.

#-Link-Snipped-# Cdac bangalore knowledge park is almost as good as Cdac pune in terms of placements ,teaching or infrastructure ;but knowledge park campus doesn't provide hostel facility although electronic city campus has their own hostel.i know all these because i live in bangalore and i have visited the campus..some of the companies who came in past can be found here..

I looked through a few Facebook groups and saw that only 14 out of 93 students of the DESD Aug 2012 batch of CDAC Bangalore were placed. The rest did not get anything.

hi everyone..
i have scored 78 rank in A+B+C in CDAC2013 exam. so i want to know that which center is best for DESD course? cdac pune or cdac banglore? plz reply fast as posible.because i have to fill the choise
milan i m in desd banglore present batch and first of all congrts..u will get ur pune/hyd/bang...which ever may be ur 1st choice...but as per my advise u can go for hyd ofr desd...or if u are vey comfortable with linux-os then only i will advise u to go with pune/bang as pune+bang has 1 common faculty called BABU sir which is GOD of Operating System but for an average student will not be able to get from his has its level is very high and truely speaking in my batch there are 88 students out of which only 7-8 are getting from babu sir all others are not comfortable with that clearity in concepts...no doubt he has very good knowledge but its not worth untill u grasp it from him..which is very tough for many guys...i m not putting him down but our level is not that much....u take my advise pune+bang both are good but pune is strict and banglore isnt..knowledge + facukty are very good in both pune+bang for desd but as for desd guy he shoukd be comfortable with os+rtos+esp(device drivers) which all is taught by one common faculty babu sir...i also had 1 frnd in pune in desd only there babu sir is very strict and in small period of time he teaches very fast in pune as he thinks that all cream students are in oune while in same amount of time in banglore he teaches only 60% as banglore is not strict but if u have a good knowledge in os then u got to pune and if u want to learn slowly then go for bang..also schedule in pune is worst as 2 modules are running at same time while in banglore only 1 module at a time..just think twice between pune+bangalore also think hyderabad as it is hub for embedded and all papers for desd are set by hyd and not pune+bang also in bangalore some modules are taken very lightly like andriod but for desd os+rtos+esp is must...best of luck..and think twice and then fill ur choice ...if u have any query abt placement and centres then feel free to ask...

there are many discussions on DAC and DESD courses and the placements are good in these course, but what about WiMC,
I got ~750 rank in WiMC and 990 rank for DESD
graduation from ECE stream but now interest is in WiMC and their placements, confused😕

CDAC DESD Bangalore group. I obtained my information by reading the comments to the questions posted by others.
I had contacted someone of that batch. It seems that in the end around 40 people out of 93 got a job in the end. (I do not know whether the rest of the people got jobs via on campus placement or off campus)

for wimc if u going then bangalore is worst as no good faculty and no studies are there in bang for wimc ....try pune and u can try sunbeam pune good for wimc then u try banga as last option and placemnt is 40% in banga for wimc
in last batch....there is time pass in wimc + dass in bangalore thats my fnds are facing problems in bang...in bang obnly dac+desd+dssd is good

till now my seniors placement was almost 50% and if u dont have knowledge in os then i think u should start now onwards and if u get pune.bangalore then babu sir module will be in vain until u have linux knowledge he will teach lika a rocket science is going on in class and the level of babu sir is like that he is teaching to phd guys ...and u wont get any thing...THIS IS FACT AS I M VICTIM OF THIS CASE TOO...

half an hour by bus/metro.....domlour is almost 45 min...while all others will take 30 min...........................jhoin

guys for desd must read the books before time....both of this book will be MOST HELPFULL in desd specially for b.....sirssss counter part.....so thr atleast or start nowonwards and try to cover as much as u can ....and do share this pdfs with desd aspirant guysssssss...........

I have completed my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering in the year of2008.After completeing Btech I worked in a S/w company Cyndrake solutions as a Software trainee for 11 months, But suddenly the company got insolvent and released all of its employees. Since July 2010, I am working in telecom domain However, there is no hope or ladder in this field. after completing my three and half year in this field I give up hope to enhance my career in this field. Right now I have firmly decided to switch in Software field as it was my trade in Btech... some of my senior suggest me about c-dac. i already started to prepare myself for c-dac dec'2013 exam.... but i have another problem that my 10+2 marks was not good it's 58%.My 10 th and btech marks are greater than 65%. so my question is that is my 10+2 marks and year of passout affect my chance in placement???
plz guys help me with your fruitful suggestion......
it's really tough decision for me to decide what to do ?

Your rank is very high to get admission in dac course in good institute of cdac... you can get cdac kolkata or chennai, but i strongly woudn't recommend that...

Yes, it will affect your chance for placement... Don't go for CDAC...

Your rank is good... Your 1st choice should be cdac pune, then cdac banglore(kp)... you will get it. Other than that you may try sunbeam pune or cdac hyderabad... That will be enough....

you may apply for dac in cdac pune, cdac banglore kp, cdac hyderabad and sunbeam. your target is job, so don't go for wimc or dssd. and also don't go to banglore ecity. your percentage is lower than 60%, that will be a disadvantage, but you can still go for cdac because your rank is good. Go for:-
dac in
1. cdac pune
2. cdac banglore kp
3. cdac hyderabad
4. sunbeam pune

You fill up all the choices according to your preference. They will allot you on the basis of those preference from the 1st choice. So give your preference from cdac pune to wherever you want to study and hope for the best and wait until the 3rd counseling. If you don't get into good institute, then take your money back.
