CCFL 2.0 - Crazy Cricket Fantasy League season 2

You have to follow simple rules to take part in Fantasy League.
Code of Conducts
1. You have to select total of 12 players from the list given in next post.
2. You have to select 6 player from England & 6 from Australia.
3. You have to select 5 Batsman, 4 Bowler, 1 Wicketkeeper, 2 All Raounder from the list given in next post.
4. You have to select one player as your *Crazy Player* and one as your *Duffer Player*. The points of Crazy Player will be DOUBLED & points of Duffer Player will be HALFED.
5. After you have created your team,Post it here or PM me,So be careful & read rules properly.
6. After end of each test match, * The Transfer Window * will be open. Here You can change any of your 3 players only. To use transfer window you have to PM me or post in the format given below in next post. and yes again be careful you have to change your players according to the rules. You can also change your Crazy & Duffer player. The transfer window will be closed on the match day at 5:30 GMT.
7.The last date for submitting your main team is 8 July, 5:30 GMT.
8. You can Change your team by unlimited times before deadline. 😁 i.e you can post your team now and no problem you can change it any time before deadline..😉 but if you edit your post(team) or reply after deadline...team will be Discarded..
9. The final decision will be of The Admin, The Mods & CCFL organizing team.
10.Final Scorecard will be of Cricinfo.
Rules for scoring points
1. Points scored by runs:
1 run = 1 point.
Bonus points :
- for 50,100,150,... runs in an Innings, 5,15,25,... points respectively.
- for 100,200,... runs in a Match, 10,20,... points respectively.
e.g:
Ponting Scores..
60 Runs in First Inning: 60+5
100 Runs in Second Inning: 100+5
So total run in match is 160 so Final Points: 60+5+100+5+10=180 points he Scored
2. Points scored by wickets:
for each wicket, 25 points.
Bonus points:
- for 5 or more wicket in an Innings, 50 points.
- for 5 or more,10 or more,... wickets in a Match, 25, 50,... points respectively.
e.g
J Anderson Takes...
5 Wickets in First inning : 125+50
5 Wicket in Second inning : 125+50
Total 10 Wicket in a Match..total Score 125+50+125+50+50=400 points he scored
3. Points scored by other
- 1 catch = 5 pts.
- 1 stumping = 5 pts
4. Extra points:
If your Players Get.
- Man of the Match = 50 pts
- Man of the Series = 100 pts

Good start Rajdeep & GF. Looking forward for a successful CCFL 2.0. As discussed I am all game to give my best suggestions to help you out in making this a big success. Here are a few suggestions / questions from my side.

- for 50,100,150,... runs in an inning, 5,15,25,... points respectively.

For 100 runs its 15 points or 10 points ?? 😕

5. Once team submitted can not be edited. So be careful & read rules propely.

What if the player of my team get injured in between th series... Hey wait wait !! does you mean to say team is final for for one match only, not for series??

- for more than 5 wicket in an innings, 50 points.
- for more than 5,10,... wickets in a match, 25, 50,... points respectively.

If a player takes 5-5 wickets in both innings how many bonus points he will get..??
Would it be 50+50+50 = 150 + (25*10)

- 1 runout = 10 pts

What if two players are involve in run-out?? both will get the points.

Here is answer to all your queries:1. I just misspelled there. I will edit it. There should be " 100,200,... in a match ".
2. I wanted to put allrounder category, but then I merged it with other category cause I wanted to make team selection easily. I merged it with batsmen.

I wanted to put allrounder category, but then I merged it with other category cause I wanted to make team selection easily. I merged it with batsmen.

Broad / Lee / Johnson / Swann are bowling allrounder. They do cool batting as well...

Watson / Flintoff / Pitersonn / Bopara / Collingwood are purely alrounders. How can you consider freddi as a batsman only? He is truly the best bowler of English team. Man create a alrounder segmant.

Suggestion:
4 Batsman / 4 Bowler / 1 keeper - compulsory.
3 - player of your choice.

Another suggestion to make it more interesting.

Give ranking / points to all the players (with organisers concern). Give some initial XXXX points to all CE members and then ask them to select players from those XXXX points. So that team would be mix n match of good and normal players.

That was just an suggestion!!! way to go.

Thats fine crazyboy. You got nice points. I am implementing your suggestion no 1 immediatley.
Suggestion 2 is also good but to make team selection easily, we will leave this. For suggestion 3, its good initiative, but we need to calculate points of all players carefully and according to the total points we have to give starting fund. So we will implement these two suggestions in future.
So CEans, rules are finalized now. Go ahead & create your fantasy team now.

@CB yes you are right Transfer window open only between Test matches and it got freeze before match the transfer that done after starting match will be discarded..
@Rajdeep you can copy the same line from CB to Rules.. edit the rules...

Yes CB, transfer windows will be opened only during gapes between test matches. I will simplify the rule so CEans can take advantage of it.

It is a really good suggestion & looks like it is close to the real cricketing. But it will increase workload on CCFL organizing team, thats why we are not implementing negative pointing system. Though you will enjoy here. Waiting for your team, cranky!
