'BuildTheEnterprise' May Just Be The Thing To Save Our Space Program

Of the many bright ideas that aim to revive our drooping space attempts, one Systems and Electrical engineer's idea stands out. His aim is to develop the StarshipEnterprise till 2032. BuildTheEnterprise | Building The USS Enterprise, which took off last week, is an attempt towards building a working model of the first-generation USS Enterprise in no more than the coming 20 years. The intended ship shall possess an artificial gravity wheel, 3 ion-propulsion engines, and nuclear reactors; collectively  making it possible to reach Mars in 90 days. The author, "BTE-Dan," may not be an expert on the subject, but he's a treasure of research information that shall be helpful in developing the ship.

Living a Star-Wars life in reality doesn't sound easy, as the differences in real-life and in a story are huge. But the point the author wants to stress upon is, when taxpayers are asked to hash out billions of dollars to get Americans on space, the concept should inspire them enough to dive into their wallet.
