BMW C Evolution Adds Pizazz To The Future Of Electric Scooters!

The BMW C prototype is nearing completion and could be released anytime now. Apt for the urban scene, BMW has two goals to keep with this latest offering- Performance as good as any combustion engine equipped maxi scooter and a long driving range.

The BMW C evolution scooter boasts of an 8 kWh battery that propels an electric motor with a continuos output of 11kW and a peak output of 35kW. The maximum speed is limited to 75mph and it can cover a range of 62 miles on a single charge. Battery recharging demands at max three hours. What distinguishes this scooter from the rest is its car-like charging socket. While seated on this scooter, a passenger may effortlessly enjoy motorway riding, overtaking and can also tame the steeps.

The date of launch is yet to be announced by the company, but at present it is known that the scooter is being analysed in a pilot phase. The pilot phase employs real conditions of use in areas that cast a similar environment.
