AOC e1649fwu Is AOC's 15.6" Portable USB Monitor

AOC announced its new portable 16 inch USB monitor. Priced at $139, it is designed to be the most wanted laptop accessory for people who want a multi monitor setup on the go. As it is a USB monitor, it sucks in power from the laptop battery and also receives its signal from the same USB cable. While presenting, Robert Velez, Marketing Manager of AOC, explained the dedication of AOC in offering new technologies which are user friendly. He also explained the various usages of the UBS monitor like business presentations, multi-display setups, as a photo frame, etc.

The AOC e1649fwu features a 1366 x 786 resolution screen with a 50,000,000:1 contrast ratio and an impressive 5ms response time. It comes with a foldable Smart Stand which supports the monitor both in portrait and landscape mode.

The LED display can also be used with any desktop PCs. The lack of HDCP support is a definite drawback which restricts one from watching Blu-ray movies. The monitor weighs just around 2.1 pounds and is 1.4 inches in thickness. It is manufactured with the best eco-friendly techniques as possible meeting the environment standards and even the packaging is made from recycled materials.
