    Looks like their lot of confusion whether aerospace engineers can apply for IES. Reading a few sources; it looks like you SHOULD be able to apply under the Mechanical or Electrical category based upon your choice. The eligibility criteria does NOT mention that you should be a graduate of the disciplines listed in the category section.
