First Beta of KDE Framework 5 is released. The final release is planned for June. Plasma Next that is built on QT5 is the first transition of codebase to KDE Framework 5 which will be lot smoother than current plasma and much more neater & attractive.
Below is few screenshots & link to video, if you want to check it out.

Is it just me or it seems to be inspired from iOS design? 😨

I would like to know, which part of KDE do you feel similar to that of iOS ?

So by looking at Calendar widget with translucent blue theme, you think KDE Plasma Next is iOS inspired ?

    Cool one , Sir 👍

Just to remind you, KDE Plasma Next Final Release is on 15th of July. If you're too eager to try the beta1 of Plasma Next, here's the Neon ISO available : #-Link-Snipped-#

Plasma 5 is turning out to be awesome. Using it as daily driver. Many (read most) KDE apps are not ported to QT5, but still it looks quite better than Plasma 4.
However, option of using EGL openGL interface is great plus of QT5 KDE framework.
