Microsoft engineers across the globe to receive $1500 pandemic bonus

Microsoft’s chief people officer, Kathleen Hogan, has announced a $1,500 (over ₹1.1 lakh) pandemic bonus for its employees worldwide. To recognize the unique and challenging fiscal year, Microsoft is offering the said sum to all the staff below the corporate vice president level that started on or before March 31. The bonuses will go out in July or August to employees in the U.S. and abroad. Such efforts are deemed as being employed to reduce impact from the anticipated 'Great Resignation' trend that could affect companies worldwide.
