The Mimosa X is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core preocessor along with a GeForce GPU. Till now, the processor has been used only in high end Android devices like #-Link-Snipped-#. The phone will have NVIDIA Icera 450 HSPA+ Modem, which NVDIA aquisted in mid-2011. The new modem supports multiband HSPA and can speed up the data transfer up to 21 Mbps.  The Mimosa X will sport a 4.3-inch qHD screen with a resolution of 960*450, a rear 5MP camera, a front camera along with 4 GB of storage space which can be expanded to 32 GB. The phone will run Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS.

Besides all the above features, Mimosa X will be a complete multimedia phone with a lot of other features like advanced audio distribution profile (A2DP), in-build Dolby sound, Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) for easy sharing of content, HD video recording, dual microphones and built-in gyroscope. Users will also have access to TegraZone, which is a free Andriod app for Tegra Preocessor and supports console quality gaming. Using this game optimizing app, which was available only for high-end Android devices earlier, users can have powerful and quality gaming experience.

As World Mobile Congress is just a week away, NVIDIA has taken a step ahead than other competitors. According to the #-Link-Snipped-#, the phone will be launched around Q2 2012. NVIDIA hasn’t said anything about the price, but it is targeted for “main stream” users, so we believe it won’t be very expensive.
