Zopo Speed X smartphone equipped with Niki AI Assistant, Dual Rear Cameras launched in India

Zopo has announced a new smartphone device- Speed X in its high end Speed Series. It comes equipped with an artificial intelligence (AI) based chatbot, Niki, funded by Ratan Tata. The chatbot enables users to get easy purchase options for more than 20 e-commerce services ranging from travel and entertainment to daily utilities. They would simply have to chat with Niki to pay bills, book cabs, buses, hotels, movie tickets and a lot more, just within seconds, quoted the company release.

On specifications front, Speed X offers a 5-inch full-HD 2.5D ARC (1080 x 1920 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 441 ppi. Powered by an 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor it is coupled with 3 GB of DDR3 RAM. There is a provision of 32 GB built-in storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 128 GB).

The connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, FM, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. The device sports dual-SIM (Nano) slots and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It houses a non-removable 2680 mAh battery with a fingerprint scanner located at the back.

For camera features Speed X incorporates dual camera setup at the rear end. It comprises of a primary 13-megapixel sensor and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor for the capture of depth-of-field. The front camera is a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and soft light LED flash support. Zopo Speed X would retail in Royale Gold, Charcoal Black, Orchid Gold, and Space Grey variants.
