Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 now available offline via pre-booking. Deliveries start from March 8
Xiaomi launched the much awaited Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro last month with amazing features at a competitive price point. The smartphones were up for grabs via two flash sales as of now on Flipkart and Mi.com. Unsurprisingly, as the demands for these feature-rich smartphones are sky high, they went out of stock within a few minutes in both the sales leaving the potential customers disappointed.
Thus Xiaomi is also offering the Redmi Note 5 and its Pro variant via the offline retail partner stores. Interested ones can now pre-book the Redmi Note 5 by paying an amount of Rs 2,000 to confirm the booking, from any of #-Link-Snipped-#across the country. Deliveries will start from March 8 onwards.
Prebooking for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is also expected to start soon but an exact date is not known at this time.
One should also note that there is a slight difference of Rs 500 in pricing when you are getting the smartphones offline when compared online. The Redmi Note 5 3GB RAM+32GB variant will cost Rs 10,499 when bought via third-party offline stores while it is available online via flash sales at Rs 9,999. Same goes for the other 4GB RAM+64GB variant, which will be available offline for Rs 12,499 while its online price stands at Rs 11,999. A similar trend is expected for the Redmi Note 5 Pro also when it becomes available for pre-booking at the offline stores.
Nonetheless, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and the Redmi 5 Pro smartphones are an excellent value for money proposition even with an extra Rs 500 charge. With its attempt to grab the offline market, Xiaomi is on the right track to even attract those customers who are not comfortable ordering from flash sales.
