Windows 9 Is Windows 'Blue'

Microsoft's Windows operating system engineers are back to the work from party and have began developing the next generation of the OS. But don't expect the new version to make a debut with all the fanfare like Windows 8. Instead, it will be an 'update' launched sometime next year. The update will be called 'Windows Blue' instead of 'Windows 9' and it will ensure that Windows get updated more frequently like Apple's OSX.

Unlike a service pack which is a combo of recently discovered fixes and mintor updates, Windows Blue will be a feature pack which may introduce GUI tweaks and new features to Windows 8. We don't have much information on Windows Blue at this time, but we are going to be more observant in the summer of 2013.
