4th April, 2011 was Microsoftâs 36 birthday. Bill Gates and his childhood friend Paul Allen, on April 4, 1975 founded Microsoft Corp. So, today I would like to write about Microsoft and its new version of the OS. If you are a Windows user here is the future for you. Microsoft is currently working on its Windows 8 version. This version is shaping up real fast and will be available by 2012 as claimed by the Microsoft.
#-Link-Snipped-#The Windows 8 welcome screen has been launched though. It is very attractive and is based upon the Windows phone 7 lock screen. But the thing is that you cannot configure it completely. The display in total constitutes of:
The most noticeable feature is the Ribbon interface which will be seen on every explorer window when you log on. The toolbar is divided in three parts viz. home, share and view. Home comprises of the basic options like cut, copy, and paste, select and creates a new folder. The share part facilitates the user to upload files to email, fax, skydrive etc and provides with the option of burning them on CD. The view option customizes the view of the folders and their content being viewed.
However, there is a discrepancy regarding the complete functionality and the probability of this being a success cannot be predicted as on now. But we can definitely say that there will be dramatic changes in the final version as compared to the present version being worked upon. So are you ready to take altogether new experience of the Windows 8 Beta?
