Which is the best mountain bike? - Guide to Buy Mountain Bicycle

Whenever I see TV Advertisements about mountain biking, I am awestruck. I can't wait to ride one up to the mountains.

Since I have no idea about what to look for while buying a mountain bike, it would be of great help if someone could post certain details about it.

Also mention which is the best mountain bike in market currently?

    I am a bit skeptic whether you will actually buy a mountain bike but any ways the question is good. They are suitable only for hilly regions. Normal bikes are preferable elsewhere.That is why I wanted to reply. 😀

    The most popular brands today in world are Trek, Giant, Gary Fisher and Specialized (According to my knowledge) besides have you heard about MTB?

    My practical advice is that if you want me to design one for you, then I can do it. Else if you want to buy some already established brand you can always buy.
