i am interested in doing engineering after high school, but there is a program called electronics engineering technology and electrical engineering. In most cases technology degrees are two year training degrees. They are training you for a tech position. Engineering's degrees are 4year degrees or on a community college level they are 2 year transfer degrees.

Electronics Engineering is a sub-domain of Electrical Engineering. The major difference in these disciplines is the level of voltages they deal with. Electrical engineering would deal with study of high voltages, power transmissions, core electrical devices (transformers, motors, alternators and so on).

Electronic engineering deals with lesser amounts of 'volts' 😀 . Electronic engineers would study integrated circuits, transistors, diodes and so on. However, I'd advise you to take a look at the course material and find out where your interest lies. If you have further questions, feel free to ask here.
