    AFAIK, you no longer need a TIN number for any business operating in India. It's all been replaced with GST (Goods and Services Tax) - a single tax that replaces all the taxes for products (goods) and all types of services sold in India. 

    I don't think there's a minimum income limit for getting GST number.
